Red List LIVE T-shirt Competition and Festival at Port Lympne Wild Animal Park, Kent

Do you dream of a career designing clothes for a living? Well, this could be just what you need to get your name out there and get started. Red List LIVE, the new multi-arts festival, is running a fabulous t-shirt design competition in association with Drapers Magazine for all secondary, college and university students in the South East!

The festival is being held from 19th – 21st June 2009 at Port Lympne Wild Animal Park, Kent and is being organised and hosted by The Aspinall Foundation. The Aspinall Foundation is a charity devoted to the conservation of endangered species and returning them to protected areas in the wild. Red List LIVE plans to raise £1 million over 5 years to donate to them.

Entries for the competition can be submitted up until 20th April 2009, and the theme this year is `Endangered Animals`. The winning t-shirt design will be produced in an exclusive short run to appear at the festival. Just think – your design could be worn by thousands of people over the course of the weekend!

By entering the competition means you will get the chance to win tickets to the festival, but also to have your work seen by some influential industry insiders. This is an amazing opportunity, and shouldn`t be missed if designing is your passion! Entries will be judged by the fashion and features editor of Drapers Magazine, Khabi Mirza and the overall lucky winner will be invited to the Drapers offices in London for a behind the scenes tour where they will meet the team whilst learning about the exciting world of fashion.

`The fashion industry is constantly evolving, and here at Drapers we`re always looking for up and coming fashion talent. I`m delighted to be judging this competition and can`t wait to see what the students of the South East have to offer.”

The three day music and camping festival will host around 15,000 people over the weekend, and just by attending yourself will help a very good cause. Early bird tickets are available priced at £99 for 13 years and over, £5 from each weekend ticket will go towards helping endangered species.
