My summer beauty essentials

The first things I took to my boyfriend`s house when I moved in last weekend were my beauty essentials – even before my clothes!

I can`t live without my make up bag and various cosmetics, and even though I don`t wear heavy make up unless I`m performing a gig, I couldn`t do without it!

With that in mind I thought I`d let you in on what`s in my cosmetics drawer this summer:

Dior Airflash Foundation (£29.50)
This is one of the best foundations I`ve ever used! If you wear it alone it gives you a sheer, summery look and really reminds me of the catwalk complexion. Sometimes when I`m singing at a big gig I`ll spray a light layer over my normal foundation to give me a flawless look.

Fake Bake Extreme Tanning Gel (£26.95)
Screw all that lying in the sun for hours on end, getting sweaty, burnt and bored, I`m all about the fake tan. I hate worrying about the health issues of sunbathing so I just slap on the sun cream in the day and put this on to get bronzed up. It`s my favourite fake tan because it dries super-fast and is brown when it goes on, so you can easily spot the bits you`ve missed!

`BUFFY` Exfoliating Bar by Lush (£4.50 for 90g)
A miracle product for thighs, this stuff makes your skin seriously smooth. I use it in the shower before a night out because it smells good and gives my pins a sheen without the need for moisturiser.

Dermalogica Oil Control Lotion (£23.40)
Clubs and bars are hot enough in the winter, let alone in the summer. To stop my T-zone looking like that of a body builder after three hours in the gym, I apply a fine layer of this under my foundation and it soaks up the oil a treat!

Bourjois Rouge High Tech (£7.25)
I prefer my make up light in the summer so Bourjois`s new lip product is really good. It`s a water-based tint that gives you great colour but feels like there`s nothing there. Cyber Cassis, which is a fuchsia pink, is my favourite shade and it`s similar to a lippie Cheryl Cole was wearing in a recent photoshoot.
