Nicole`s love and influence of costume dressing is apparent by the way she incorporates a print or silhouette through a material allowing women to express their creative side, yet feel comfortable with what they are wearing.
It is a surprise really that an extensive bag range hasn`t been launched sooner but I guess good things come to those who wait! This is a first for House of Harlow 1960 with the collection featuring red carpet clutches to bohemian pouch bags and shoulder bags. The range fits in well with the Dark Arts trend this AW12 as it was inspired by the 1970`s take on gothic rock.
Dark nuances and edgy modern vintage wear are fused with striking prints and florals which fashion lovers will appreciate thanks to the detail and care that has been put into each design. Features that can be seen in this bag collection include matter black hardware, sequins, destroyed trimmings, beading, intricate embroidery and raw edges. This is where femininity meets gothic edge! The colour palette comprises of rich saturated hues of navy, merlot, emerald, and teal, which is contrasted beautifully against jewel tones in mustard, gold, blood red and electric blue to give the range a luxurious feel.
