Espadrilles have been re-worked for Spring/Summer 2012 with the style not only seen on the usual wedges and flats but also on trainer and heel designs. If you are unfamiliar with these shoes, they usually have a canvas or cotton upper fabric and a flexible sole made of rope or rubber material which is moulded to look like rope. Clever and perfect for wearing in the sunny months ahead! This now popular shoe originated from the Pyrenees and first became fashionable in USA in the 1940s. Since then they have made their mark here in Britain with more women flaunting these fashionable must-haves.
I love the mix of different textures and materials which are fused together to create a variety of styles that will have your feet feeling like royalty! There are a range of super stylish designs and colours to be found in high street stores and online that fit in with the current trends this season such as snake and leopard prints, colourful and neutral shades.
A great investment shoe for this summer which will guarantee you`ll be looking fashionable from head to toe!
