The catwalk show took place at the historical Grand Palais which was transformed into an abstract cityscape, with graphic architectural lines and billboards punctuating the space. Miranda Kerr, Jessica Alba and Solange Knowles were just a few celebrities who flocked to see the host of seasonal key pieces which combine the hottest trends and statement items that brings a touch of high-end style to the brand.
Mixing feminine and masculine designs, the overall theme was rather relaxed. Slip dresses and draped tops worn under men`s blazers, biker and aviator jackets nodded to a contemporary take on androgyny dressing. Fake fur coats and sequin and stone embroidery brought texture to the range whilst fabrics which included silk crepe, silk satin, fine cashmere and velvet gave the pieces luxury elegance.
Modern silhouettes were complimented by an array of various knee-high boots which was all the outfits needed; the beauty of the designs created a style impact all on their own. Black, white, brown and khaki created a chic colour palette whilst splashes of red and blue provided enough vibrancy to keep an autumnal feel. I predict this limited-edition collection will be another sell-out.
