Whitney Port from MTV’s show The City - latest Style Icon?  I think so!

Who else is totally obsessed with MTV’s hit series The City?  Ok maybe just me – but I’m sure the rest of you are close behind!  Who can resist the fashion, drama and excitement that surrounds Whitney Port, the star of the series?  Her style oozes chic tailoring and it seems she isn’t afraid to try out interesting styles and colours to make her stand out from the crowd.

Whitney has been fortunate with her career, which funds her gorgeous wardrobe, having worked for the fabulous Diane Von Furstenberg and currently working at Peoples Revolution and not too long ago launched her very own fashion line ‘Whitney eve’ which captures her unique style.  Her first runway show took place during Fashion Week in 2009 and collections are extremely beautiful and sophisticated.  Quirky colours and an array of different textured materials capture the essence of femininity and are versatile – which is what Whitney likes to portray in her own attire.  She rocks the whole tailored shorts and slouchy blazer look, but can most certainly pull off the glam vixen look in a LBD and sporting slicked back hair.

A talented young designer with a huge career ahead of her and here at TopStylista we’ve put together two outfits which reflect the fashionista’s style!
