Style in the City is an über-chic new fashion and beauty event taking place in Birmingham from 3rd to 6th April 2008. Combining glamour, treats, entertainment and retail indulgence, it involves some of the hottest names in the fashion world.

Designer-of-the-moment Christopher Kane is creating a gorgeous one-off bag for the event, which all visitors will receive as a gift. Style gurus Trinny and Susannah will give live fashion consultations and Stella McCartney’s latest sportswear range for Adidas will be showcased for the first time outside London.

Style in the City is unique in that it will not be located at one venue. Fun, dedicated transportation – like pink motorised rickshaws and luxury limousines – will whisk visitors between exclusive catwalk shows, celebrity stylist consultations, make-up master classes, live music and dance events at destinations around Birmingham city centre including Selfridges and Harvey Nichols. There will also be a luxury pampering area where visitors will be able to luxuriate in mini treatments from top hair and beauty brands like Nails Inc, Aveda, Toni & Guy and sk:n clinics.
