UNIQLO: 2 Stores, 1 Day
On Wednesday 7 November 2007 Japanese label Uniqlo opened two new stores in Oxford Street, one of which will be their London flagship store.
Are you thinking of unexciting baggy cardigans and shapeless jeans? Well, think again!
The Japanese brand has undergone an incredible transformation over the past year and is now looking completely rejuvenated.
With a new flagship store recently opened in New York and already a list of enviable collaborations, including designer of the moment Phillip Lim, Uniqlo’s aim is now to offer “stylish, high-quality and affordable clothing and accessories complemented by an unparalleled modern Japanese shopping experience”.
The key pieces of their new collection include 100% cashmere jumpers, quirky Japanese Kaihara denim trousers, sweater dresses and beautiful coats. And all at prices so incredibly convenient that we think they will be flying off the shelves!
So hurry up and get your hands on one of these super soft cardis to wrap yourself in this Christmas. And we can guarantee you will be the envy of the entire family.
The 25,000 square feet mega store will be located at 311 Oxford Street and will open with a super party with Agent Provocateur model Lowe as a host DJ along with plenty of other celebrities attending. The second store will be based at 170 Oxford Street.
