At Topstylista we are dedicated to keeping you in touch with the world of fashion. It’s with this in mind that we’re going to start a regular thing of recommending certain other blogs that we view as a great read. We think it’s much more personal to actually give some background as to why we’re suggesting a site as opposed to the rather cold and in personal blogroll or link list. So here goes with our blog recommendation number 1.

As a rule of thumb we don’t recommend our readers visit sites hosted by blogger. As we all know they tend to hang, crash and generally be a pain in the bottom to view let alone submit comments to.

However, there are undoubtedly some real diamonds in the rough. This site I am Fashion is undoubtedly one of them - providing news, tips and much more. Written with real passion this blog exudes interesting content and is crafted in an engaging writing style that tends to draw you back for more.

Here’s some background:

“I (Harrods Girl) was getting frustrated that there were no simple websites telling me what was going to be in fashion. I was trying to search for a site that was made for normal people by normal people, (by that we mean us of course.) I used to search on Yahoo, but that was completely useless of course. I know a lot of people probably had the same problem as I did, so I thought, why not set up a site for people to get fashion insight? Then Barneys Girl and I talked about it (for over a year,) and finally decided to do it.”
