Tights Please Autumn/Winter 2011 Range Review!

Cold weather doesn’t mean you have to stick to jeans and trousers ladies. There are plenty of options that will keep you warm and keep your style rate up. Tights Please has a great range of pieces for Autumn/Winter 2011 that could easily fit into any wardrobe and lifestyle.

I recently got my little fashionista hands on a bunch of goodies from Tights Please which I can get so much use out of for winter. I love the Cable Rib tights! They are a great alternative to leggings (which I tend to practically live in!) and are super comfy. I teamed my grey pair with long t-shirts, jumpers, day dresses and my trusty UGG boots.

My Aristoc Cotton Sheen Tights are extremely versatile too and are ideal to wear from day to night! The subtle shine in the black makes a delightful change whilst the material is soft against my skin. They look great teamed with heels or flats!

When it comes to the nightlife scene I normally play it safe when it comes to leg wear, sticking to tan shades but thanks to the Jonathan Aston range of sexy sheer black tights I no longer have this problem. With daring prints adorning them they are perfect for adding an interesting twist to evening looks. The Tuxedo style helps to elongate my legs as well as adding a subtle feminine edge thanks to the little black bows. For a more quirky look, I turned to the Roulette style which gives the illusion that I’m wearing knee socks – cute and stylish! I stuck to wearing little dresses with both styles as I didn’t want to take the focus away from the tights.

Now ladies – who has ever tried to fit socks over tights when wearing boots for comfort? I think we’ve all attempted it at some point but haven’t had much success. They either slip down (which is major uncomfortable!) or stick out over the top – never a good look. Tights Please has heard our prayers though and have come up with a genius idea – Bootights! Comfy moisture-wicking socks are joined onto the tights to provide a sleek comfortable look when wearing boots. They come in a range of styles – from semi-sheer to opaque and ankle to mid-calf heights. My mid-calf opaque black tights are ideal for wearing with my UGGS as it makes a lovely change from teaming them with jeans or leggings. Thick enough to keep me warm in chilly weather, they are versatile and stylish and perfect for boot lovers.
