The New Duo Boots A/W09 Collection Review

I’m absolutely in love with the new DUO Boots Autumn/Winter ‘09 collection! Chantelle and I were lucky enough to get a sneak preview back in April at DUO’s press preview in their London Fitting Room on Saville Row and it was great to see new styles and colours!
All the boots are perfect for those forthcoming cold winter days (and nights) and the collection is made up of chunky leather stacked block heels, lace-up, over-the-knee, concealed platforms and popular riding boots styles, with suede, leather, nubuck and patent finishes providing something for everyone.
The practical and stylish boots designs make them a must-have necessity for your winter wardrobe, whilst the rich deep colours will fit in with this seasons colour palettes. My favourites from the new collection have to be Madeira with the optional turn down cuff, Genova the boot with an incredibly comfortable platform and Toscana the two-tone suede and patent combined boot.
If you’ve never heard of DUO Boots before, they are unique because they measure in calf sizes as well as shoe sizes to provide a comfortably perfect fit for any size calves and they come in 21 calf fittings and shoes in up to 5 widths. So if you struggle to find boots to fit your calves on the high street then we here at TopStylista can definitely recommend DUO Boots for your one stop boot shop! It’s a common issue for a lot of women out there and I know Chantelle directs her clients to the DUO Boots website and fitting rooms so they can find the perfect boots to match their outfits.

Genova, £185

Madeira, £245

Toscana, £215

READER COMMENTS:
I LOVE Duo boots. I have “runner’s calves” even though I’m not a runner, and no boots ever fit me. Until I found Duo. I have three pairs of their boots now, and they’re all gorgeous, and fit perfectly.
They’re also a great place to go if you have skinny calves.
