The fashionista turned eco-fashion warrior!

Eco fashion is big business! We all seem to be going green crazy and now when someone offers to show you some credible eco-fashions you can expect to see more than just a hemp sack draped across a model. Lots of high street retailers are bringing in their own eco-ranges in store to show us that they care about the environment and this is creating more awareness that is much needed.

Originating from Indonesia, I more than most people am desperate to see an end to the sweat shops of the Far East and Asia. Fortunately the media has turned up the heat on the subject and many leading fashion houses appear to be changing their ways ... unless they are just being super quiet about it!

Enamore Beautiful Bette Shift Dress made from hemp and recycled materials - £130

I set myself the task of finding some amazing eco-fashion houses and I came across three which deserve a mention. My feeling is that these brands are going to be huge and the financial clout of the fashion emporiums like Topshop won’t be able to do anything about it ... unless they stop thinking so hard about paying Philip Green’s ridiculous annual billion pound bonus and start taking some responsibility by selling only fair trade clothing.

Some of my favorites include:

People Tree (very clean and tasteful designs)

Hellish Cheeky (cool retro stuff)

Enamore (some stunning designer pieces)

Know any cool eco-fashion brands ... ? about them.
