Sporty yet stylish - Cycling Shorts are one of this season’s must-have items!
Featured throughout the Spring/Summer 2010 catwalks such as Louis Vuitton and Topshop Unique, cycling shorts seem to be a definite season must-have!
Part of the sportswear look they are versatile enough for layering, with denim for example, and can be dressed up or down – depending on the style of course. Now being a pear shape I’m a little annoyed with this trend. But only because women who have spidery long legs seem to be the only people who can probably make cycling shorts look stylish instead of frumpy… But if you’re willing to give them a go I would suggest wearing them with a pair of killer heels or super chunky wedges.
There are an array of styles and patterns to choose from such as plain colours, lace, bold prints and brocade so be creative when wearing them. Print mixing, mini dresses, lightweight jumpers, slouchy style t-shirts, fitted jackets and towering heels would all look perfecto with them.
These Lytesse cycle shorts (below) are a great place to start as not only are they versatile they help slim your thighs too! Releasing Caffeine and Shea Butter into the skin these shorts apparently breakdown fat and keep skin nourished while you wear them. Inch loss can be achieved in just 3 weeks so would be perfect for a quick fix if you’re going on holiday anytime soon. You could even lose up to 5.5cm from your hips and 3.1cm from your thighs! A great way to be on trend this season and shape up your thighs all at once! Fashion is just pure genius sometimes…
