Slimavite launches a unique new diet

Skeptical? Don’t be… yeah, there are hundreds of diets out there but very few that take into consideration being able to enjoy trying to lose weight. Most seem to come with a punishing schedule and end up teaching you how to become a yo-yo dieter, which is incredibly bad for your body (that’s what many forget to tell you!). Enter Slimavite!

I think you’d agree when I say most diets I’ve tried demand a degree of regimented guidelines in order to lose weight quickly… but there lies the problem. We have to get out of this mindset of rapid weight loss and simply tweak our lifestyle and bad habits, favoring a slightly longer term, more healthy approach to diet. After all, what I have learnt from this product is that successful dieting is an education and once you’ve understood the parameters you typically keep the weight off.

The difference with this new Slimavite diet is that you are encouraged to carry on enjoying your sociable lifestyle, treating yourself with a glass of wine or a good meal out rather than simply feeling guilty all the time. The diet works at your pace (i.e. the more you exercise the more you lose) and one of the best thing about it is the support it gives you online. The best online tool is their BITES calculator, the diet works off a BITES system, where you have a recommended certain amount of bites each day… similar to calorie counting but far easier!

There are shakes involved, which make up the crux of the diet, but before you turn off these are possibly the best tasting diet shakes I’ve tried, and I’ve tried a few! Whilst many shakes often end up making you feeling hungry after an hour or so, I have to say that the hunger pains tend to stay away far longer. They are also far tastier and contain pre-biotics, which help to encourage the growth of friendly bacteria.

The diet is aimed to lose you a steady 2lb per week and having tried out the shakes and all the cool bells and whistles on the website, I can see this is a very achievable target.

Apart from the BITES calculator on the website, there’s also a great recipe and excercise section (we all need inspiration for meals when dieting), a great slimming blog and a unique (and simple) game called Slimaville, which is a rather addictive way of keeping on top of your daily food intake.

In terms of pricing, it’s not the cheapest diet or the most expensive… but it IS one of the most innovative and tasty on the market today we think!
