Shoes Glorious Shoes at Daniel Footwear - Happy Christmas to ME!

OMG girls, who doesn’t love shoes? Shoes are just one of those things that every girl can never have too much or too many of. For me, the right pair of shoes really DO make an outfit and complete whatever ‘look’ you’re going for whether it be for day, night, work, weekend or fancy dress for that matter – if you don’t have the right pair of shoes to match the outfit then quite frankly you don’t quite cut the mustard in my book!

Daniel Footwear is a brand I had never heard of before but I found out the other day they have a fantastic website where you can literally sit and browse shoes, shoes and more shoes all day if you like. They have a fabulous collection of women’s, men’s and kiddies shoes as well as handbags and designer accessories - the array of product on the site is endless. I must admit I’m always a bit dubious about buying shoes online especially if I haven’t heard of the brand, as I’m a real stickler for quality, uncompromised style and most importantly for me anyway, comfort - not a lot to ask then? Crikey, this site had better live up to my expectations…

As soon as I started having a flit around I first noticed some of my favourite designer brands that I like wearing anyway such as Missoni, See by Chloe, Diesel, Stuart Weitzman, UGG, DKNY, Ash and Camper, but my goodness the list was endless. I had visions of clicking on these brands and finding perhaps an odd mismatch of styles but I was pleasantly surprised with the choice available, there were absolutely loads of shoes I liked! Strangely enough in the last year I have also noticed my feet getting smaller, once a UK size 4, but recently I have found myself fitting into UK size 2 shoes - don’t know how or why, there is no explanation here. However, one aspect I loved about this site is that they stock as small as a size 35 (UK size 2) and up to a size 42 (UK size 9) so there’s a great choice for everyone in a good range of sizes.

Since the start of the season I have been searching for a pair of leather ankle boots with a decent heel to totter around in for work. You can imagine as a London personal stylist shopping all day your feet can really take a battering so whenever I can I avoid killer heels, but sometimes wearing flats can feel quite dull. During my search on the site I came across what seemed like the exact style I was looking for called Daniel Bramling - I couldn’t believe it! The Brambling design is similar to the Daniel Blackbird but these boots feature silver studs over the top of the boot, which gives it a funk, rock like look perfect for wearing with my rolled up slim leg boyfriend jeans and smart pencil skirts they looked liked the perfect investment. They were also reduced, an even better bonus, especially as this month’s budget should have been going towards Christmas pressies but I just couldn’t pass these up knowing how much wear they’d get. When they arrived on my doorstep and I unwrapped them from the black tissue paper I was impressed with how soft the leather was. I slipped them on and instantly they were incredibly comfortable, when you put shoes on for the first time and there’s no pain at all then you know you’re going to get real wear out of them.

Currently, Daniel Footwear has a 70% off sale on selected styles so why not treat yourself to an early Christmas pressie, no one need know, secretly wrap them up and pop underneath the tree until the big magical day! Don’t forget last orders for Christmas is 21st December so don’t think too hard about it for too long - Happy Christmas to me!
