Pattern Mixing with Luxury Scarves!

Some of you fashionistas may run in fear from just the thought of wearing different prints and clashing colours in one outfit, whilst the rest of you would embrace it with open arms.

It’s a great way to unleash your creative, playful side and a chic way to ease into this trend is to experiment with different styles of scarves.  From bold to subtle prints, bright to muted shades and long to short styles they are such fabulous accessories and a perfect way to add drama to an outfit.

Dominique Mosley and Jane Carr are two luxury accessory brands which have an array of beautiful prints and styles to choose from.  Wear them with everything from florals, tie-dye, polka dots and leopard prints to give the whole pattern mixing trend a go!

Dominique Mosley

I recently discovered Dominique Mosley, a Manchester born designer, and I fell in love with her beautiful scarves from the moment I saw them.  Classy, feminine designs adorn the 100% silk scarves which are all designed, printed and hand finished in the UK.  It was in 2009 when she launched her label after a lifelong passion for accessories.  Her styles are versatile enough to wear with work wear, day wear and evening wear and Dominique was even featured on Vogue.com in a ‘How to Wear’ Guide.  A talented designer who I’m positive has an amazing career ahead of her!

Jane Carr

Another gorgeous luxury accessories brand is Jane Carr which launched in 2005.  Based in London this designer produces hand finished scarves and beach wear which flaunts creative vibrant designs and colours that would work perfectly when mixing patterns together.  Limited Editions and distinctive prints are featured throughout the collections which are down to the use of exquisite fabrics and high quality production.  No surprise really as Jane picked up a lot of handy experience whilst working for Donatella Versace in Milan for 4 years where she worked in-house as head of printed textiles for women’s wear.  Rather impressive yes?
