I am an avid reader of fashion magazines and my favourite feature in any issue is the street style section. However, I notice they always take place in London but on this particular occasion I wanted to see if there were any worthy stylish Fashionista’s on the high street in my local area of Surrey and Hampshire. So, armed with my camera in tow I set to work conducting my very own street style feature with the help of my most stylish friend Chara Hayman. So, here goes… let me show you just how stylish people are in Surrey.

Key piece = Faux fur hat £22, Topshop.
Outfit 1: This was the first person we spotted and were immediately taken with her amazing hat! We were also impressed by how she pulls together several trends, faux fur, khaki, a shearling jacket and a satchel into a well-blended outfit. The key is keeping each item low key in subtle colours.

Key piece = Candy flowers carry all bag £25, Cath Kidston.
Hannah wears outfit 2: This girl caught our eye with her amazing shearling coat from Topshop, but it was the individual details such as the buttoned up shirt, tiny peace symbol earrings and gorgeous Cath Kidston bag that really impressed us.

Key piece = Leather double sided coat £219, Zara.
Claire wears outfit 3: This outfit was a winner, purely down to her fabulous statement coat! The coat was purchased at a charity shop and by wearing it casually with denim this outfit is reflects a laid back feel and lets the coat have the impact it deserves!

Key piece = Knitted cable knit jumper £48, Topshop.
Kelly wears outfit 4: The faux fur collar caught our eye, but my favourite part of this outfit is the cable knit jumper paired with wet look leggings. The matching colour of the coat and the jumper is also a great combo, as it keeps the outfit effortlessly chic.

Key piece = ‘Rupert Bear‘ wool scarf £27.99, Amazon.
Olivia wears outfit 5: This outfit is so cute thanks to the Rupert Bear scarf and unique bag. Loafers complete this understated geek chic look.

Key piece = Felt Hat £25, Topshop.
Chara wears outfit 6: One of my favourite outfits of the day is my street style partner, Chara! Her amazing vintage bag and trilby hat from Topshop are the ideal individual pieces to go with her military coat from Topshop. Referencing geek chic with her tan brogues, it’s the perfect mash up of trends.

Key piece = ‘Cheryl’ faux fur coat £50, boohoo.com.
Amber wears outfit 7: This outfit was definitely my favourite of the day. Black shaggy faux fur coat, mean black buckled boots and a chic neutral bag results in a knock out gothic chic outfit.
