Mens personal style can be easily represented like a very simple toolbox - if they start thinking of their wardrobe in this way, by getting some good quality basics that fit well, they will be well on the way to acquiring the style they want in minutes!

The sad truth about men and fashion is that most want to look good but won’t often make the time to take the necessary steps to follow it through, opting to wear second best day in day out. It’s a fact, if you wear second best clothing then you will feel like second best.

Most men have decent budgets to spend on looking good, more so than their other halfs but a round of golf or a couple of pints somehow seem far more important to spend their hard earned cash on. The simple fact is that it doesn’t take a lot to look good and while men prefer to carry out two to three major shopping sprees a year is the perfect time to call in some professional help.

Making sure your getting your wardrobe looking right from the start is key to a successful guy. If you feel happy and confident in what your wearing then this will aire the right confindence in other areas of your life – in a business environment, people will instantly realise you mean business, being confident within yourself can help you achieve those extra goals and if you seem relaxed in your personal life people will enjoy your company by knowing that you are self assured.

But when it really comes down to it, there’s not a whole lot to buy. You definitely need a good pair of shoes and a few well-made suits for all business occasions. You need a comfortable leisure outfit that won’t let you down or embarrass you. You need casual clothes that incorporate a decent pair of jeans and something to wear to a highly formal occasion at last minute.

Here are some tips that will help you easily revamp your wardrobe instantly, giving you style in minutes! You can’t go wrong with this basic uniform if you feel good in it and it fits you well.

The Essential Tool Box Items Include;

A Good Quality, Well-cut Suit

The easiest way to upgrade your office wardrobe is to think about buying a suit that isn’t a dull corporate grey. A suit in a neutral colour is best so that you can wear a colour that complements your natural colouring and acts like a base for adding shirts and ties to. Styling Tip: A wide-striped tie looks great with the plain, solid colour shirt and a pocket on a shirt is a subtle addition that says to the outside world that you pay attention to detail – a positive sign in business. Tailoring Tip: If having your suit tailor made, be sure the jacket covers your derriere completely. Don’t trust what the tailor says, look in the mirror yourself to check out your behind.

Business Trip Bag

If you haven’t done so already then look to banish your small black hand baggage travel bags with wheels on the bottom when going on a business trip - they are nor stylish or masculine … Remember that you are not a pilot or flight attendant, you are a successful businessman who can travel light at a drop of a hat. If you pack in the correct way then you can carry a two-day-trip’s worth of clothing in one hand. A smart leather oversized bag looks chic yet stylish and always looks good against the knee of a smart suit or designer pair of jeans.

Stylish Leisure Wear

Good, stylish leisure wear is a minefield and can be hard to find if you don’t know where to look. Some of the attire at proper leisure shops is a joke, do not spend your hard earned cash on these embarrassing items, you will not look good in it … and don’t get roped into wearing bright, horrid colours just because that’s all they have on the shelves in the shop. Browns, creams and neutral tones are tasteful and very easy to wear. If opting for a shirt then wear it loosely outside of your trousers, a short-sleeved, mesh polo shirt will go with everything in your leisure wardrobe along with jeans for a casual, relaxed look.

Lightweight Summer Suit

In addition to your lightweight wool suits, a well-dressed guy should own a quality linen suit that can be worn together or separately depending on the occasion. Most men make the mistake of wearing their suit sleeves too long to take care in addressing this – at least half inch of shirt should show at the wrist. To look even sharper, make sure your lapels extend halfway or less than halfway out toward the shoulder line of your jacket.

Slimming Casual Clothes

Believe it or not like every lady, every guy wants to look slimmer. Strong and predominant vertical pinstripes along with deep necklines and v-shaped lapels on a casual fitting jacket will definitely have a slimming effect. It’s a great look for a casual evening out. Styling Tip: Whenever you go out with a lady - dress a third nicer than what you think looks good, and you will be dressed appropriately. You will definitely meet her expectations every single time!
