High end men’s luxury fashion label dunhill London has launched DAY 8 – The dunhill View. It is a unique, online platform to showcase and share some of the most inspiring and fascinating content that can be found on the web.
Dunhill offers beautiful suits and clothing that have a very British air about them which I absolutely love. With a certain edge to the pieces, the use of versatile luxe colours makes dunhill such an iconic brand. They also do leather goods, accessories, such as cufflinks and lighters, and even fragrances that would appeal to the current and on-going British gent.
If DAY 8 has intrigued your curiosity then go have a look-see on dunhill Day 8. You can even download it as an app for your iPad to make it quicker to access so you’ll be in the know wherever you are. If you’re still wondering what DAY 8 actually is though I’ll explain it in a bit more detail! It is the world viewed through the dunhill Eye shared in the form of images, articles and film and is not a blog or an e-zine. The fashion brand is reflected in DAY 8 merging creativity, elegance, travel, culture and intelligence to draw us in and capture our imagination.
As part of the launch of the amazing DAY 8 platform dunhill has created three short movies, the first capturing London based illustrator Chris Dent working on a rather special commission for dunhill. Known for his breathtaking drawings of cityscapes the brand asked him to capture the four Homes of Alfred Dunhill, in London, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Tokyo fusing them into one piece of work. Chris’ cityscape depicts Bourdon House (London Home), Prince’s Building (Hong Kong Home), the Twin Villas (Shanghai Home) and Ginza (Tokyo Home) whilst the Oriental Pearl merges with the Millennium Dome and the Bank of China. Creative, inspiring and stunning!
To celebrate the launch of DAY 8, dunhill will be selling 20 limited edition signed prints of this piece of urban art exclusively on dunhill.com.
