Designers at UK retailer Marks & Spencer have added some especially designed insoles to their highest heels. The new insoles are designed to spread weight distribution - lessening pressure on the ball of the foot. The insoles are placed under the heel and arch of the foot - this helps prevent the foot slipping towards the front of the shoe.

This new insole technology is called Insolia and was developed by world famous podiatrist Dr Howard Dananberg.
