Deciding on a New Year’s Eve dress is one of my favourite parts of the occasion! High street and designer stores have such a stunning variety of designs to choose from, all incorporating this season’s hottest trends. I’ve decided to go for a bit of sparkle this year and will be wearing a gorgeous bronze metallic dress from French Connection. What trend will you ladies adorn?!
Lace is a huge must-have for the season and definitely adds a feminine yet luxurious edge to dresses. You don’t need to be covered top to toe in this beautiful material – find the right balance for you. Experiment with different textures too. Embellishment and sequins are ideal if you’re after a bit of glitz and glam for New Year’s Eve. They make gorgeous statement pieces and will wow everyone in the room. Just make sure the fit is perfect and there is no baggy fabric as you don’t want to add bulk to your shape.

If you’re after a dress which is a little simpler then stick to minimalistic chic. Figure hugging, one shade dresses ooze sophistication but will have you feeling sexy too. Keep your accessories minimal as well to stick with the trend.

Some other fabulous frock ideas to see you into the New Year are sheer panel and thigh split designs. Both styles show off the perfect amount of skin so you’ll remain comfortable whilst feeling beautiful and seductive.
