Due to high volume of wedding fashion dilemmas we have received here at TopStylista over the past few months, it’s definitely that time again - Wedding Season!
We thought it a fabulous idea to team up with Centrale Shopping Centre in Croydon to give our website visitors some gorgeous and glamorous wedding outfit ideas.
We’ve hand picked the outfits so there’s something for everyone.
The Long Tall Sally
Tall girls can pull off volume styles that would normally swamp smaller girls. I would recommend this classic black Empire line dress £65.00 from the Zen range at Next for a very formal wedding.
If however the dress code is more relaxed and you’re feeling brave embrace this season’s brights in these dramatic ruffled dresses. Pink strapless prom dress £200.00 and orange column dress £240.00 both from Corcellis at Fashion Enter.
A Perfect Petite
Shorter hemlines will elongate your legs - so why not plump for this striking purple dress £38.00 from Miss Selfridge.
Strapless dresses can perfectly showcase petite shoulders, so why not invest in this season’s dip dye trend with this one £38.00 from Miss Selfridge.
If you feel self conscious about mini lengths for formal occasions try teaming a mini dress with trousers. This gorgeous appliqué dress would look great with white trousers and high heels. The long wide leg trousers with front pleat will make your legs look longer and slimmer. ‘Bex’ dress £130.00 and white trousers, £70.00 both from French Connection.
Passionate Pears
Pear shaped girls should draw attention to their smaller top halves with beading and gathering details as seen on this Chloe-inspired shift dress £130.00 French Connection, which will also skim over hips.
To accentuate curves go for a patterned A-line skirt and team with a plain top, this pretty, floral, print skirt and light wool, V-neck top are both £40.00 each from French Connection.
Beautiful Big Boobs
This blue dress £30.00 from Miss Selfridge will lift and separate your bust to create a smoother sleeker silhouette. If you feel self conscious about your cleavage for formal events you could try teaming the dress with a pretty lace camisole.
The belted ‘Tessa’ dress from LK Bennett has a higher neckline and the style is reminiscent of 1950s Hollywood starlets - great on curvy girls.
Sensual Small Boobs
Horizontal striped will create curves where you need them and a waist belt will create the illusion of an hourglass shape. Safari styles were all over the Summer 2008 catwalks, so try this slash neck dress £32.00 from Next.
Alternatively the ruching and delicate bow detail at the bust on the ‘Strudel’ dress from LK Bennett, £169.00 will enhance any cleavage, but looks particularly demure on smaller busted women.
Model Boyish Figures
Another option for Weddings this summer is a trouser suit. Boyish frames can perfectly pull off a stylish take on the classic tuxedo suit. Tuxedo style shirt £22.00 and black straight leg trousers £40.00 both from Next.
Create an hourglass shape with a wrap over dress the large statement bow will make you feel even girlier. Gold dress £50 Next.
