Gloucester Quays £400m Designer Outlet – opening spring 2009

Posted by Chantelle on Fri 15th August 2008 at 02:58 AM, Filed in Hot NewsIndustry News

Spring 2009 will see the grand opening of one of the UK’s most impressive designer outlets aptly named Gloucester Quays. It’s cost a huge £400m but promises to not disappoint.

As the name suggests, it’s a waterfront development (similar to Gunwharf Quays) and is a huge retail and leisure development that will house hotels, cinema, waterside bars, apartments, offices and of course home to some gorgeous fashion brands.

There’s no firm word on the retailers that will be there as yet, but with 100 retail outlets a fashionista certainly shouldn’t struggle for choice.

Complaints,Gloucester Quays Designer Outlet:
I visited your new outlet centre today and found it good but but the day was spoiled when we were leaving.
I realise it was a Bank Holiday and expected some delays but never dreamed it would take 52 MINUTESjust to get out of the car park even though I was only parked on LEVEL 1.
This length of a delay is way over any acceptable delay and I will not be using your facilities again.
Apart from paying £3 for parking (that was fine), I then had to sit in a queue for the 52 MINUTES which must have cost me another £5(or more) worth of fuel not to mention the stress caused and the harmful effects on the atmosphere.
I hope you reply to this e-mail with at least an apology if not to re-imburse me with the extra time, money and stress this visit cost me and my family.
If you are not the correct person for this complaint, please forward it to the appropriate person as there was not a contact name or e-mail address on the web site or in the leaflet.
