The fashion chain Elvi, which was hailed as a saviour for larger women has been bought out by private equity group Langholm Capital for £10 million.

Oliver Spark whose previous form includes Chief Exec of luxury homeware retailer the White Company is to head up the all new Elvi group.

Having gone through some turbulent times Elvi seems to have found greener pastures in recent times with a portfolio of 90 outlets and various concession deals within department stores.

The new owners are expected to open more stores and grow the online and catalogue side of the business.
