Clothes Show reveals where you are most likely to find a Carrie, Samantha, Miranda or a Charlotte in the UK. The capital’s fashion and beauty event of the year has released the findings of its survey to uncover which Sex and the City character women from the different UK regions most identify with

To celebrate the forthcoming launch of the hotly anticipated Sex and the City 2 film release, Clothes Show London has asked over 1,000 women across the UK which Sex and the City characters they most identify with. With questions asked on a range of topics, the survey revealed that women in the South are like Carrie, ladies of the North are like Samantha, women in the East of the country are like Miranda and from the West are like Charlotte.

The survey revealed:
Women in the South:

·  Buy on average, over 10 pairs of shoes a year
·  Are most likely to buy the latest Vogue magazine rather than lunch
·  Are the person their friends choose to come to for advice
·  Are most likely to identify with Carrie (40%)
Women in the North:
·  Are more likely to describe their style as bright, bold and outrageous
·  Are most likely to stumble into one of their past conquests on a night out with the girls
·  Own or plan to set up their own company
·  Are most likely to identify with Samantha (15%)
Women in the West:
·  Believe in soul mates
·  Believe in love at first sight
·  Are most likely to play cupid and match-make their friends
·  Are most likely to identify with Charlotte (31%)
Women in the East:
·  Are more likely to choose to put their careers before anything else in their lives
·  Are more likely to earn more money than their partners
·  Are more likely to choose comfort over style
·  Are most likely to identify with Miranda (14%)
