Christina Hendricks revealed as official ‘face of’ Vivienne Westwood ‘Get a Life’ Collection
The gorgeous Christina Hendricks has been revealed as the official ‘face of’ the Vivienne Westwood ‘Get a Life’ Palladium Jewellery Collection.
Actress Christina fits perfectly with the collection as her classic beauty merges with the stunning jewellery which takes inspiration from nature and symbols of paganism and is made up of a couture and a commercial collection. The Heart Necklace and Oak Leaf Tiara were personally styled onto Christina Hendricks by Vivienne Westwood and her husband Andreas Kronthaler at the shoot resulting in breathtakingly beautiful campaign images.
Christina Hendricks comments:
“Vivienne Westwood has always been one of my favourite designers. So it was a great honour for me to be asked to represent the ‘Get a Life’ Palladium Jewellery Collection. I admire that Vivienne uses her designs to inspire change and the pieces are just so wonderful. I love that there are dramatic pieces such as the tiara and the heart necklace as well as more simple pieces such as the acorn earrings. As Palladium is a naturally white metal, the pieces really sparkle under the lights and I cannot wait to wear them on the red carpet!”
The heart pendant represents hope - hope that it is not too late to affect the future of our environment for the sake of generations to come. The Oak Leaf Tiara signifies the need to respect our environment and illustrates the oak tree as King of the Forest.
