Carvalho’s Concept Shoes

Gil Carvalho has unleashed a conceptual range of shoes called ‘Visionary’ where aesthetic comes first and then function, and in his words “the conceptual collection lets me play and explore”.

With a background of art and architecture this forms the background of this distinctive collection. Gil likes the idea that shoes can be seen and worn as sculptures and therefore displayed as inspirational objects. He incorporates aluminium with elastic - unusual materials for shoes but quite mechanical and industrial.
