Become a fan of Vans this season!
I would have never thought of a pair of Vans, as a casual stylish alternative to my usual Converse or Ash sneakers but I stumbled across an authentic style that are a complete hybrid of my beloved lace-up brogues and Superga canvas trainers.
As a stylist I love changing my day-to-day look from quirky smart to sporty casual and now that I’m a mum I definitely need practical footwear to bomb around town with the buggy!
When I took the time to start browsing the Vans ranges online I realised that they didn’t just do the regular canvas lace-up shoe. It was refreshing to discover a new brand, which I typically associated with ‘the skater boy’ (not really my style anymore). However, I was pleasantly surprised when I found an array of different fabrics, colours, washes and styles that anyone could really work into any look.
I also had a doubt in my mind that I would be too old to wear this brand but the branding is subtle and the design speaks for itself. Put together with your favourite outfits is a sure fire way to look casual and stylish this summer. Here’s a wardrobe snippet of what my new Vans will be worn with this week.

Monday - Outfit 1
Vans worn with Monsoon Fusion yellow sleeveless blouse, COS black zip bomber jacket and Monsoon peg trousers.

Tuesday - Outfit 2
Vans worn with H&M ivory sleeveless blouse, Isabella Oliver Navy leather biker jacket and Mary Portas silk drawstring trousers.

Wednesday - Outfit 3
Vans worn with GAP skinny jeans, N. Peal cashmere hoodie and my new grey Prada bag.
