The days of the plastic bag are numbered as shoppers start to do their bit for the environment and adorn new bags such as this ultra stylish (and Fair Trade) Casa Copenhagen bag aptly known as the Birdgarden shopper. Rightly so too!

Retailers take note… we’re really happy that M&S have recently said NO to plastic bags, BUT there is still a problem. Whilst these ‘eco’ shopping bags are great for the environment, at £30 we think they are a little steep and certainly won’t get many people away from free plastic bags. If brands are going to adopt the concept of these bags then they need to at least make the price enticing and sacrifice a few profits for a change!

A small advantage to buying this bag is that 2%of profits (is it really worth giving that!) goes to a girls school in India. That will be about 2p a bag then!
The design is lovely I agree, colours are great and there is a range to choose from… but… is it really that tempting?
