Audrey Hepburn’s Little Black Dress

The little black dress that Audrey Hedburn wore in the 1961 film Breakfast at Tiffany’s is due to be auctioned at Christie’s on December 5th 2006.

Now there’s something to wish for for Christmas ...

The dress was designed by Hubert de Givenchy and is expected to go for up to £70,000. The money raised will go towards City of Joy Aid, the Calcutta-based non profit organisation that helps children in Calcutta. Audrey donated the dress to the founders of the charity before she died in 1993 ...
