Accessorise Perfectly for Autumn with Hats, Belts and Gloves

Accessories for this Autumn are bigger, better and bolder.

Jewellery is bold with trailing necklaces in gypsy designs, go for tarnished charms and natural stones that hang low below your neckline and chest. Layer chains in the same colour tones that match your outfit - bold is beautiful!

Hats are also hot this season, opt for wool, oversized beanies in chunky knit or lady like riding style hats. Plain and simple beanies are also back for a more simplistic, chic look. Remember to colour code your hat to your chosen outfit and keep it one, bold colour.

At the moment I love belts, I even remember owning an elasticated belt first time round so I am loving them second time around. A belt can really change or enhance an outfit. This season you can wear them over anything; jumpers, smart wool jackets, shirts or dresses, wear them how you want - the most flexible accessory around! Great for extenuating small waists and adding interest to any daywear or evening outfit. You’ll see elasticated, metallics and chain detailing, double up on a longer length or be content on a high waisted number.

Gloves are long and sleek this Autumn, wear them up to your elbow for a refined edge. Find them in luxurious fabrics, leather, velvet and satin. Team them with short sleeved shirts or delicate, sleeveless, feminine evening dresses.

READER COMMENTS:

Crocheted caps and berets for ladies are also quite big this season. I’m a retailer, so get to see what’s being offered: women’s winter hats actually include bombers, which are usually associated only with men’s fashion.

Should be fun!

Thanks Steve. Crocheted caps and berets have always been a nice Autumn accessory as far as I’m concerned.
