Friday 18th February saw designers MATH and Trousers London introduce their London Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2011 Collections at the Gallery in The Hospital Club. Organised by Katch PR, the night was full of runway shows and an after party which included socialites and celebrities such as the amazing Janice Dickinson (who I adore!) and media darling Prince Cassius!
Buyers and press also attended the event to support and gaze upon the gorgeous clothing from both of the designers. MATH, a stylish and sophisticated womenswear line, highlights the silhouette of the body and the style of a modern day woman. Classic fits and a versatile colour palette of gunmetal, black and neutral with accents of bright shades gives the range that luxury feel. MATH fuses materials such as washed silks, soft leather and silk jersey mixes which brings an urban edge to the collection.

World renowned lingerie brand Triumph stepped into the spotlight at London Fashion Week on the 22nd February 2011 celebrating 125 years of perfecting the female silhouette. Gorgeous, curve enhancing, customised Shape Sensation pieces designed by Duo Daniela and Annette Felder took to the catwalk resulting in a fantastic show!
Triumph is also the first ever lingerie brand to hold a catwalk show at this prestigious event in the fashion calendar and was definitely one of my highlights of London Fashion Week. The brand has been combining innovative fabric technology with contemporary fashion styling for years to create new levels of everyday shapewear sophistication that women adore!
This is the third consecutive season that Felder Felder have collaborated with Triumph as they both share the same vision – a love for detail and amazing quality which results in modern, sensual designs that help women to feel comfortable, confident and sexy without losing femininity.
Daniela Felder said:
“Shape Sensation pieces work perfectly for Felder Felder as they give a woman extra confidence, just like our FF collections. The embellishment of the season was worked into Shape Sensation – burnt ice-flowers embellish bras and pants and a trim of this season’s goat’s hair was worked into bras to give them a feathery “strong” lightness. Leather straps replace actual bras straps to give the feel of the spontaneous, cool Felder Felder girl.”

Dressing for work doesn’t mean you have to play it safe. There are plenty of ways to make you stand out from the crowd in a chic and stylish way. From bright coloured office-friendly bags to beautiful jewellery - you’ll be one trendy working girl this Spring/Summer 2011!
Brighten up your work wardrobe with a ‘loud’ shade handbag in red, blue, green or yellow. A perfect way of adding colour to an outfit and was seen on the Fendi, Marc by Marc Jacobs and Prada catwalk shows. You don’t need to spend your whole bank savings though as Mimi Berry do a handy summer satchel in either yellow or red for under £300! Or maybe even choose a bag which flaunts enough compartments to hold all your vital work items.

Celebrities and people of the fashion world, including myself, gathered at The Wallace Collection in London on Friday 18th February for Vivienne Westwood’s ‘Get a Life’ Palladium Jewellery Collection launch party – a perfect, glamorous start to London Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2011/12!
The Wallace Collection was the ideal setting to celebrate the designer’s stunning limited edition Palladium Jewellery pieces. The designs take inspiration from nature and pagan symbols representing the strength, power and hope needed to change our environment for a better future. Palladium, which is a naturally white, light and strong metal, makes the couture pieces even more special and unbelievably gorgeous!
Dame Vivienne Westwood says -
“Get a Life is not about jewellery. Get a Life is about how we stop climate change and therefore preserve life for the next generation while at that same time get a better life. My focus at the moment is what one person can do. Stop climate change. Save the planet.”

I’m head over heels in love with Karen Millen’s Spring/Summer 2011 Collection! Beautifully tailored dresses, tops, skirts and jackets are fused with colourful brights and gorgeous prints to make a sophisticated yet versatile range.
This latest collection incorporates a few of Spring/Summer 2011’s hottest trends which will make you one stylish fashionista! Bright feminine colours such as blue, red, green, yellow and orange adorn skirts and dresses in block form to create interesting styles whilst the biker jacket adds a subtle edge to a gorgeous floral print dress – which fits in perfectly with the oversized flowers trend!
The minimalistic trend can be seen in this Spring/Summer collection too. Simple chic dresses and tops in white and nude shades make for effortless, serene, fuss free looks. The neutral tones provide clean cut, cleverly constructed pieces and is the perfect opposite to the brights trend!
