If you are an up and coming fashion designer or perhaps know one then you need to know about FaCshion!
FaCshion is a trade show with a difference where retail buyers can place orders and shoppers can purchase on the spot. The event is ideal as both a brand building and retail opportunity to connect with key buyers and distributors. FaCshion promotes emerging and creative designers from couture to customised fashion, lingerie and accessories including handbags, hats, jewellery and footwear.
FaCshion is the very first exhibition to target both trade buyer and fashionista in the capital.
The organisers recognise the importance of exhibiting at trade shows and aim to provide the emerging designer with the opportunity to target a mainstream audience. FaCshion removes the financial barriers associated with the traditional trade show and provides the platform for designers to target the fashionista.
The venue: The Old Truman Brewery
Dates: 13th – 14th September 2008

Jessica Simpson’s Intimates Lingerie is set to hit retailers in Spring 2009.
After success in apparel, handbags, daywear, shoes, sunglasses and swimsuits, the blonde beauty is turning her hand to a lingerie line that will be comfortable, fits correctly and banishes visible panty lines. The venture will slot into the existing Jess’ fashion portfolio and no doubt add to already burgeoning revenues. Analysts are conservatively predicting Jessica Simpson’s Intimates will generate a staggering $30 million in it’s first year.
Other ventures due for release next year include a fragrance and belt collection.
