There’s been a lot of amazing collaborations lately between designers and high street fashion retailers, who have spoilt us with countless creations to invest in and the latest one that nearly slipped its way past my radar is the Holly Fulton for Radley capsule collection.
This exciting partnership between the Scottish designer and British accessories brand fuses Holly’s distinctive eye for graphic pattern and Radley’s luxury leather craftsmanship. And the final results are inspiring! The contemporary four piece collection was kept simple in colour, with the palette being made up of camel, black, white and flashes of red to make sure the designer’s signature optical print was the standout feature of the pieces.
Each design comes with its own unique aspects which makes them even more appealing. The Envelope is a professional clutch that can take you from day to night. Hidden underneath the magnetic flap closure is a large mirror followed by another mirror inside on a chain making topping up your makeup a whole lot easier whilst on the go. The Slouch is full of function and style thanks to its wrist strap and pockets. It’s completed with a Radley the dog shaped mirror embossed in leather too.

The Moon has a distinctive shape and creates a real statement. It even comes with a miniature version of itself in purse form, tucked away inside for chic accessory matching. The Scottie, as you can tell by the name, is shaped in the form of Radley’s undeniably cute logo making for a stylishly unique piece of arm candy taken one step further by its zig-zag embossing. Don’t hang about to get your hands on one of these collaborative beauties!

High end fashion label Banana Republic and designer L’Wren Scott are joining forces this season by launching a gorgeous limited edition capsule collection which is filled with bold vivid colours, a wonderful array of fabrics and feminine designs.
The exciting high quality range for women is made up of more than 50 pieces and includes clothing and accessories which have been given a slight festive twist. From sequin party dresses to bejewelled cardigans and sexy skinny jeans in standout prints, such as brocade, to party ready dresses this collaboration between the brands highlights numerous trends.
Three original prints have been created exclusively for this capsule collection to give classic silhouettes a fun and unique edge. A dramatic lip print in bold hues of Lipstick Red and Ultra Violet can be seen on skirts, blouses, handbags, scarves and pyjama sets. A romantic peonies print, inspired by Scott’s love of lush flowers and gardening, reveals itself on blouses, scarves and jeans in varied shades of bold red and pink. The third print is a candy stripe of black, Ultra Violet, Poster Red and Lipstick Red and is flaunted on blouses, pyjama sets and accessories including a beret, socks and a cashmere blanket which is fun for seasonal gifting.
The colour palette has been kept deep yet colourful, infusing some of the season’s most popular hues into the collection including red, burgundy, emerald and, of course, metallic shades which have been achieved by the use of pretty sequins. Overall, the clothing is kept rather contemporary in shape highlighting women’s best features whilst showcasing how either a statement garment or layered look can create a fashionable impact.
This capsule range marks the first partnership for L’Wren Scott with a global fashion retailer and has set the bar high for any future collaborations the designer may have in mind. The collection launches at select Banana Republic retail locations worldwide and online from December 5th 2013.

Kim, Kourtney and Khloe have now teamed up with another high street giant, recently launching their debut Kardashian Kollection for Lipsy.
Ever since the rumours started that the super glam reality TV stars were designing a range for the popular British brand, women across the country have been kept in suspense, ready and waiting to get their hands on the clothing and accessories. Now with the wait finally over the coveted collection designed by Kourtney, Kim and Khloe Kardashian is already a smash hit. By 4pm GMT on the day the range went on sale, Lipsy.co.uk had set a new record for its single biggest online shopping day to-date!
The sisters have injected each of their individual styles into the range and, taking on-board that women have curves, have included various sexy figure hugging separates and dresses to bring out our inner glamour. Kourtney’s eclectic mix, Kim’s glam elegance and Khloé‘s rock chic look ensure there is something special for every style fan. It’s been a while since supermodel Kate Moss collaborated with Topshop so I can imagine shoppers will be excited to hear that the English beauty is set to launch a new collection with the high street brand in April 2014.

This partnership started all the way back in 2007 and had the supermodel launching the first Moss/Topshop collection by posing in the windows of the Oxford Street store making for an iconic moment in fashion history. Kate’s pieces have always been a knock out success as it gave keen fashion enthusiasts a chance to own a piece of her style at an affordable price. Garments always evoked a little bit of vintage style, boasting feminine detailing, courtesy of various fabrics and prints plus they always made great festive attire!
The Spring/Summer 2014 collection is currently in the design process and will be sold in Topshop stores in countries across the globe as well as online so expect massive queues and a slow running internet connection. Comprised of 40 pieces, the range will feature clothing, accessories and footwear and, as with previous Topshop collaborations, is expected to be inspired by Moss’ personal wardrobe. It will definitely be interesting to see what Kate will come up with as it’s been so long. Her own style has slightly changed over the years so will this affect the whole aesthetic of this future collection?
But as we’ve all been spoilt with other high street brand/designer collaborations over the past few seasons, will Kate Moss’ latest offering be enough to win over the hearts of keen shoppers once more?! Let’s just hope the unveiling of this new collection will be as spectacular and trend-savvy as ever!
