Our tried and tested self-tanning products have been very much enjoyed recently so why not take our word for it and read on …

I must admit I’d always been wary of self-tanning products. My greatest fear is to end up with a streaky, orange looking body and nowhere to hide.

Luckily I have quite dark skin, as I’m Italian so I have managed to do without self-tanning products so far. But there is always one thing that bothers me overall and that is my legs.

I cycle a lot and always end up with scratches and bruises around my calves. I have a couple of little veins here and there which I’m obsessed about. So with summer approaching I decided to take some much needed action.

I decided to try out two products. The first was Bare-it-all Legs by Almay and the second was an Instant Tanning Travel Kit by St. Tropez.

Ren Skincare is a brand of skincare products that is truly going places. Their products are positively refreshing and completely free of the normal toxins that make up skincare products.

We recently reviewed a few of the products and discovered the joys of Ren for ourselves with skin feeling fresher, silkier and strangely enough holding the gorgeous fragrances for longer than most other products we’ve tried in the past.

Recently we’ve been a huge fan of Transformulas skincare but we can definitely say that Ren Skincare outperforms in every way.

We recommend:

Stage 1 – Moroccan Rose Otto Bath Oil - £26

Stage 2 - Ginger, Revivo-Tonic Two Sugar Body Scrub - £22.50

Stage 3 - Damask Rose Ramnose Biosaccharide Body Cream - £24.50

As the TopStylista guinea pig, I was tasked with trying out a new non-surgical face lifting mask I was a little dubious as to whether it would work. But after two applications I can safely say that this is one of the best facial treatments I’ve endured to date! With celeb fans like Madonna, Sarah Jessica Parker and Rachel Hunter I knew this was going to be a product a little different from the norm!

With a cocktail of fruit extracts, vitamins, minerals and enzymes (that apparently stimulate the circulation and increase blood supply) my skin feels firmer and fresher than ever. My mum recently had a face lift and looked like she’d been in a ring with Mike Tyson for a whole week afterwards.. it was horrific and although her results are great now (she deffo looks 10 years younger), I can’t wait to see if she notices an improvement with me!  There’s no way I’d have a surgical facelift to be honest, especially after products like this are appearing on the market.
