If you fashionistas out there are saddened by the thought of not being able to get your hands on tickets for London Fashion Week then don’t despair! The Bentall Centre in Kingston is having their own Fashion Week which will be packed full of tips and advice on clothes, accessories and makeup!
The week will host fashion shows plus top modelling scouts from Models 1 will be there so dress to impress! Bare Minerals will be doing make overs whilst Trueskin will be offering brand new cutting edge beauty treatments!
Monday 28th February will have the Bentalls Department Store’s revolutionary walk-in skin clinic Trueskin, located in the beauty hall, showing off the amazing results of their skin and beauty treatments with free trials all day long. A great opportunity ladies – definitely not something to miss!
Chantelle Znideric, the centre’s personal stylist, will be giving away free style guides on Tuesday 1st March. She’ll be demonstrating how to mix and match clothes and accessories for your body shape providing you with a confidence boost knowing you can now face the world of fashion! Chantelle will help you to understand how to highlight your best assets so shopping will no longer be a confusing experience.

In addition to this, many of the participating stores will be offering free in-store entertainment, such as Def Jam Rapster and adidas joining forces to bring you the street MC contest of the year, while Pepe jeans presents a host of activities including free giveaways of album ‘Lounge Hop’ by acclaimed producer Vito Benito (who’s worked with the likes of Taio Cruz, Britney Spears, Tinchy Stryder). Some stores are even offering stylists and champagne to shoppers too.
We’ve known about it for a short while but now we can break the silence, Timberland is opening a 1,300 sq ft store in The Bentall Centre, Kingston… and just in time for the winter wardrobe!
Whenever possible I’m always taking clients to the Portsmouth store, but it’s quite a faff to be honest. But now my clients in the Kingston area can look forward to receiving the Timberland treatment too!
What’s more, four hunky rugby stars from local club Harlequins will be at the official launch to sign autographs between 1200-1330 on the 15th October 2010. See you there girls!

What a fabulous time I had last week at Princesshay Exeter. Last Thursday night we officially launched The Face of Exeter’s Princesshay Competition with an amazing launch party at Reiss.

Teresa Driscoll spokeswoman for the Hospiscare charity opened the show as well as shared a few words about their involvement, and I even managed to get my words out in a little talk and presentation before the fashion show started. Bubbly flowed all evening, and VIP guests enjoyed Carluccio’s canapés and mini iced yoghurt treats by Hugg Frozen Yoghurt. During the fashion show we saw a preview of some of this season’s hottest fashion from Princesshay Exeter’s diverse collection of retailers. It was also exciting to see a couple of local celebrities including chef legend Michael Caines and popular Exeter City footballers, Matt Taylor and Andy Marriot who all gave great support to the event.

Monday 20th September
A one stop beauty make-over with Bentalls concessions, Nails Inc, Glow and True Skin, including mini manicures as well as hair extension and eyebrow threading demonstrations.
Tuesday 21st September
Chantelle, the Centre’s personal stylist is giving away FREE style consultations all day. She will be creating looks using clothes and accessories that can be purchased in the Centre. She will also be giving away £30 vouchers for her online personal stylist service.
Wednesday 22nd September
Ultra cool kids wear boutique, Polarn.O.Pyret, will be demonstrating how to dress your child in the latest autumn/winter fashions.
Thursday 23rd September
Arrive looking your most stylish and you could win a half day personal shopping consultation with Chantelle worth £300 and a whopping £250 to spend in the Centre. Chantelle will be selecting the winner on the day. You can also get a FREE photo taken of you and your friends at Snappy Snaps.
Friday 24th September
Fashion stylist, Jo Wilson will be running an ‘accessories’ capsule wardrobe event providing you the opportunity to learn how to mix and match jewellery, shoes and bags with the rest of your wardrobe.
Saturday 25th September
Every half an hour from 11.30am to 5pm The Bentall Centre will be staging fashion shows, showcasing the hottest styles and brands. In addition, Models 1 will be sending their very best model scouts to the centre to find the next Agyness Deyn!
