The Forever 21 London store launch party took place on Wednesday 20th July 2011 at The Old Sorting Office.  Fashionistas and celebrities gathered to celebrate the arrival of this well known American fashion brand and it was a truly spectacular event.  It was like being transported into another world!

I was greeted by girls on roller skates, guys on skateboards, breakdancers and even a carousel.  Tepee tents and beach huts lined the room, offering hidden treasures of jewellery and sweets, as well as a gypsy style caravan where you could get henna tattoos and your face painted.  There was a definite LA vibe too with a Hollywood backdrop, flashing giant letters and an ice cream van.  I just didn’t know where to look!

There is hardly ever a time when Cheryl Cole doesn’t look completely stylish and I have to admit I’m a tad jealous of her wardrobe!  She was recently spotted at LAX airport, Los Angeles in a pair of gorgeous Swarovski sunglasses from the Fall/Winter 2011 Wings of Fantasy collection.

The Amazing style sunglasses feature elegant geometric cut frames with gold panels and come in beautiful shades of either blush (which is what Cheryl can be seen in), black, brown or crystal.  The unique style of these sunglasses is down to the stunning design as the frame and arms of this model are made entirely of prisms, recreating the finely chiseled facets of crystal.  No wonder Cheryl is wearing them!

Perfect for fashionistas who are not afraid to make a statement, the Amazing sunglasses are an ideal accessory for women with a strong personality.  Although a little pricey I would so buy them anyway – sunglasses are a must have for my wardrobe!

Did you know that the Fred Perry brand was one of the first to blend both streetwear and sportswear? The brand prides itself on that illustrious heritage, andcontinues to produce those iconic styles that have shaped the last century - you know the ones. The official Fred Perry website describes their ethos as one of “authenticity, integrity and attitude”, concepts to which they remain loyal and dedicated in their production of practical fashion.

Here’s a little more background to the brand - Fred Perry’s inception came over sixty years ago, when two prominent sportsmen, former footballer Tibby Wegner and the brand’s namesake, three times Wimbledon champion Fred Perry, came together to produce a sweatband. This was in the 1940s, and after the success of this initial product, in 1952 the two athletes launched what quickly became, and remains today, Fred Perry’s most iconic piece of clothing - the slim fit cotton pique shirt with Laurel Wreath embroidery.
