The Duchess of Cambridge is leading the way in chic maternity dressing, looking unbelievably flawless and elegant in her choices of clothing and accessories.  Finding fashionable yet practical maternity wear nowadays is not as simple as it sounds so if you want to follow in the footsteps of Kate then stick to complimenting shapes and simple designs.

Luxury boutique Babes with Babies was launched by Sophie Devonshire.  The wife of a diplomat and mum of two, she wanted to provide stylish and practical maternity fashion for formal occasions as well as day to day feminine style.  Becoming a mother is an incredible and life changing experience but sometimes not so glamorous.  This perception can be changed though as Babes with Babies believes that pregnant women and new mothers deserve a touch of luxury in this new phase of their life.

The beautiful selection of clothing will help you feel fabulous when your body is changing letting you feel comfortable without having to worry that you’re loosing your stylish ways.  Designs have been created to flatter your growing bump such as draping effects and belt detailing whilst keeping in-tone with current trends.

A sweet silver and white zigzag stripe pattern on the Portobello Belle top is complimented by a bold pink shoulder strap which can be delicately tied into a bow for understated glamour.  It has also been tailored to create a streamline silhouette over your bump.  Subtle, almost muted pinks, are a great choice too as Sophie Devonshire explains:

“Soft pink colours are great in maternity wear – flattering on a tired complexion.  As well as being great for summer weddings, they’re also great for helping give a good pregnancy ‘glow’ as they reflect softly onto your face.”

If you’re attending a special event this summer such as a wedding, don’t fret about what you might wear.  Feel ultra glamorous in one of Babes with Babies’ occasion dresses like the Amandine silk party creation.  The bright watercolour print gives the piece a really distinctive look plus the fabric will skim over your bump for relaxed femininity.  The sash belt can be used to give the dress shape and definition too.

Skirts and dresses are always a main part of women’s summer wardrobes as they make for a refreshing change to trousers and shorts.  The ever popular maxi length never seems to fully disappear from our fashion radar, taking our style to new lengths with grace and femininity.

Elegant ankle grazing garments in beautiful ethereal prints, bold colours and styles will help you embrace warm weather chic as well as maximise your way of dressing.  Designs have been taken one step further to broaden their versatility whilst silhouettes remain classic to compliment women during the warm sunny months.

Maxi skirts and dresses make for exceptional occasion wear pieces so if you’re stuck for fashion ideas they are great for backups!  Monsoon’s collection of these clothing wonders has fused flattering lines with inspirational hues, prints and embellishment to bring forth a new dynamic of summer must-haves.  Creative on-trend patterns such as floral, dip dye, ethnic and paisley will ensure you are the centre of attention at any party this season.

A maxi skirt opens up more outfit possibilities and is a good alternative for women who don’t necessarily like to flash too much skin.  Team with your favourite cami top for subtle daytime sexiness or use it as a bikini cover-up as you stroll across white sandy beaches looking like a sun Goddess.  River Island’s architectural monochrome number will bring your wardrobe up-to-date in an instant as well as create superb illusions whilst the soft ombre finish and leopard print design of the split leg maxi skirt results in a striking effect for perfect statement dressing.

Eye spy with my little eye something beginning with S; sun!  It looks like we’ll be getting a well deserved summer after all which is a relief to women who have been waiting to leave the house with bare legs and cover-up free.  Weather like this will put anyone in a good mood but why not go one step further and be summer wardrobe ready?!

Women are continuing to be spoilt with new season arrivals that have been made for pedicured toes and flashes of skin.  It might seem slightly strange at first dressing for work or a day out with friends and not having to layer up to brave the cold but this is what we’ve been waiting for.  Treat yourself to a pair of stupendous sandals, flowing dress and head to the beauty salon so you are looking fabulous from head to toe.

Whether you’re a colour fanatic, minimalistic muse or print lover don’t despair as all of your favourite shopping hotspots have included a vast range of trends and styles for you to choose from to help kick start the summer season.  Every woman needs a gorgeous statement bag to take to special events during the warmer months and it would seem luxury brand Wilbur & Gussie has heard our fashion pleas.  They’ve brought out a delightful collection of cute silk clutches in summer’s hottest colours such as coral, pink, blue and silver metallic and each have been finished with a quirky brooch for that extra chic touch.

So I don’t know about you; but I think it’s incredibly unfair that a-listers from around the globe got to attend California festival hotspot Coachella.  They were, like every year, treated to glorious hot sunny weather and were geared up in their most fashionable festival outfits.  Celebs like Rita Ora, Katy Perry, Alessandra Ambrosio, Diane Kruger and Queen of cool Alexa Chung were amongst the trendsetting crowd to provide women with inspiration for upcoming festivals taking place in the UK this season.

Floral, 90s grunge and boho are all appropriate trends for festival dressing which is down to their versatility and exceptionally amazing way to transform you into a laidback style goddess.  Online fashion store SpottedOnCeleb.com is the ideal destination for women who are after a certain piece of clothing, bag or accessory that they saw their style crush wearing.  It’s always a pain when you spot a celebrity featured in the press, fall in love with their outfit but have no idea what brand it is or where it’s from.  That’s the genius of SpottedOnCeleb; no more searching online for hours for that must have item.

The online sensation is packed with pieces perfect for festival-goers who are after a bit of a luxe edge whilst staying in-tune with the environment.  The Gary BF Tee features a gorgeous smokey tye dye print to evoke that hippie style.  For an alternative look, flash a bit of midriff in the Emma Crop Top in tribal jacquard for ethnic inspiration.  Both tops can be worn with a trusty pair of denim shorts like the Camilla style to create two completely different looks.  It’s all about the print this season!

We can’t help but get lost in the drama and fabulous lifestyle of the hit reality TV show Made in Chelsea.  Every time I watch an episode I get a sudden urge to go on a major shopping spree and hang out in a cool swanky bar, sipping a mojito and discussing which country I just jetted off to that weekend.  One star in particular from the show always stands out with her amazing outfit creations.  The gorgeous Millie Mackintosh is known for her impeccable dress sense and even has her own website to showcase her never-ending wardrobe!

The newly engaged to Professor Green fashion sensation is a fan of mixing high street and designer pieces in one outfit, overall proving that you don’t need to purchase expensive things to look exceptionally chic.  So how does Millie achieve such effortlessly beautiful ensembles then?  Well it probably doesn’t hurt that she has glossy brown locks, lovely long legs and the ability to pose nonchalantly in front of a camera, but you can still dress in the style of the MIC star no problem.

Millie is rarely seen having a ‘dressed down day’ and is normally spotted looking flawless from head to toe.  Her version of laidback style is comprised of skinny jeans paired with a cute jumper or t-shirt and a jacket which is normally either a biker, blazer or gilet.  Towering chunky sandals or ankle boots are quite often her footwear of choice, along with a gorgeous bag hanging delicately from her arm and a trilby or wide brimmed hat.  Miss Mackintosh isn’t afraid to flash a bit of skin either and is known for baring her tanned legs in denim or tailored shorts.
