Festival season has well and truly started with Californian-based music and arts extravaganza Coachella kicking things off. The star-studded event always attracts a plethora of a-listers who treat us to a magnitude of creative looks, covering a vast amount of the style spectrum, giving UK festival-goers plenty of inspirational fashion for the endless music spectacles ahead.

Coachella is probably the most glam-infused festival and, unlike Britain, wellies can be comfortably left in wardrobes as in the Californian heat it’s all about tiny shorts, crop tops, flowered accessories and plenty of fringing. Celebrity Instagrams have been going crazy as the likes of Rita Ora, Selena Gomez, Alessandra Ambrosio and the Jenner sisters gave us a fashionable glimpse into the sun-soaked music event and the trends they’re rocking.
Flower power seems to be back as Poppy Delevingne was seen sporting a cute bloom-tastic headband which she contrasted beautifully with a grungy fringed jacket and a retro high waisted bikini, effortlessly combining three trends in one amazing look. Kendall and Kylie Jenner went over to the dark side, showcasing gothic attire which can be easily achieved with black lace, heavy jewellery and a studded bum bag.
Blonde bombshell Mollie King has once again teamed up with Oasis to bring high street shoppers her second Loved by Mollie collection which features key wearable trends for Spring/Summer 2014. Unveiled not too long ago at an intimate dinner at the Boundary Rooftop in Shoreditch, The Saturdays singer selected her favourite picks for the new season which will no doubt fly off the rails once launched!
Branching out from music into fashion has proved a great move for Mollie, who was recently signed by Next model Management, which is no surprise really as she has always been praised for her impeccable personal style and inspiring approach to putting together flawless understated looks. Following on from the success of her first collection for the affordable label, this latest covetable edit features Mollie’s favourite Oasis pieces for the months ahead.
Perfectly encompassing the star’s style, the SS14 curated range comprises of chic co-ordinates, pretty dresses, longer length hero skirts, including pencil and midi designs, hot leathers and graphic prints.
Talking about this collaboration, Mollie says:
“I’ve always had a real affinity for Oasis and leapt at the opportunity to work on a second collection with such a fabulous fashion brand. I’ve learnt so much throughout the process and cannot wait to see the new collection in store. The new collection really offers something for everyone with an edit that combines trend-led looks alongside more classic pieces – just like my own personal style!”
I’m sad to admit I missed Mollie’s first seasonal collection offering, but this time round I won’t let these outstandingly fashionable pieces slip through my fingers! I’ve set my sights on the floral top and shorts combo as well as the denim dress. Both looks are classically feminine and will be easy to rock this season courtesy of their clean, fresh designs and classic silhouettes.

It would seem the cast from the hit reality show Made in Chelsea are fast becoming forces to be reckoned with in the fashion industry with the latest star, eccentric dresser and blonde haired beauty Phoebe-Lettice Thompson, recently announcing her collaboration with fashion label Illustrated People.
Known for her unique approach to style the multi-talented Phoebe has drawn inspiration from the animated Tokyo fashion scene including Harajuku girls and fashion icon Hiarai Ikeda for her debut collection.
