This serene range of sophisticated tailored separates nods to the ‘all things white’ trend which was spotted on the designer catwalks giving fashionistas a break from hectic prints and vibrant hues.
We associate white with a sense of purity and calm so giving your wardrobe a new season detox will not only clear your mind but your wardrobe too. This is a huge colour trend for summer 2013 and if you think this is a straightforward style then think again! Valentino, Simone Rocha and Stella McCartney opted for broderie anglaise and pretty filigree fabrics whilst Prada and Celine went for clean precise origami folds.

We can’t help but get lost in the drama and fabulous lifestyle of the hit reality TV show Made in Chelsea. Every time I watch an episode I get a sudden urge to go on a major shopping spree and hang out in a cool swanky bar, sipping a mojito and discussing which country I just jetted off to that weekend. One star in particular from the show always stands out with her amazing outfit creations. The gorgeous Millie Mackintosh is known for her impeccable dress sense and even has her own website to showcase her never-ending wardrobe!
The newly engaged to Professor Green fashion sensation is a fan of mixing high street and designer pieces in one outfit, overall proving that you don’t need to purchase expensive things to look exceptionally chic. So how does Millie achieve such effortlessly beautiful ensembles then? Well it probably doesn’t hurt that she has glossy brown locks, lovely long legs and the ability to pose nonchalantly in front of a camera, but you can still dress in the style of the MIC star no problem.

Millie is rarely seen having a ‘dressed down day’ and is normally spotted looking flawless from head to toe. Her version of laidback style is comprised of skinny jeans paired with a cute jumper or t-shirt and a jacket which is normally either a biker, blazer or gilet. Towering chunky sandals or ankle boots are quite often her footwear of choice, along with a gorgeous bag hanging delicately from her arm and a trilby or wide brimmed hat. Finally one of E4’s most glitziest shows has returned! That’s right; Made in Chelsea is back on our screens to once again show us mere mortals how the rich and fabulous spend their days. The cast always look so immaculate so it’s good for us fashion lovers to find out where they shop! Rosie Fortescue, one of the stars of the show, was recently spotted wearing the Heffner Slipper from French Sole; the luxury footwear brand’s latest iconic must-have.

This gorgeous slipper collection is currently available in four fabric and colour combinations with features such as a studded toe and tassel detailing. Inspiration for these shoes has been taken from the velvet opera slippers favoured by men in the early 19th Century. These popular shoes have been restyled over the years and have slowly made their way into women’s hearts and wardrobes. French Sole have named their slipper after Hugh Heffner who is a devotee of this shoe.
The gorgeous Rosie Fortescue was seen wearing the cobalt suede design with silver studded toe-cap which is probably my favourite from the collection. The electric vibrant shade will help compliment some of this season’s most sought after trends plus the stud detailing gives the classic slipper style a punk edge. Daring and fabulous! For a retro spin invest in the paisley texture style with gold studded toe-cap. This psychedelic print is made up of fresh summery hues to create a statement shoe perfect for daily outings. If you want to stick to the slipper’s masculine roots though then opt for the taupe or beige snake effect designs instead. They are still ultra fashionable and will make ideal alternatives to other workwear shoes.
Each Heffner design will make a fine staple in any woman’s wardrobe this season as they are incredibly luxurious and come in some of SS13’s key colours and prints. We can always trust French Sole to modernise and revamp shoes like the classic slipper – another hit collection from the luxury label!
