Fashion Enter has recently announced its 10th anniversary PROFILE fashion show after a decade of launching and supporting new fashion designers and UK talent which includes everything from womenswear to menswear and even accessories.

Some of the hottest new British design talent will take to the PROFILE catwalk show on the 10th November 2011 showcasing a variety of different looks and styles.  It is the perfect platform between Graduate Fashion Week and London Fashion Week letting the fashion world know who to watch out for.  PROFILE launched designers such as Elizabeth Lau, Angel Jackson, Hemyca and Alice Palmer so the show is always a fantastic event to attend.

Owned by Fashion Enter, PROFILE is a not-for-profit company which supports people entering the fashion industry giving them the chance to start their careers.  Fashion Enter even runs FashionCapital, the leading fashion portal for designers and consumers alike launching FCMenswear to champion up-and-coming menswear designers this year.

We all know that Katie Holmes is one stylish lady who certainly knows how to dress so it was only a matter of time until she came out with her own collection – and an extremely gorgeous one I must say!  Katie Holmes and Jeanne Yang hosted a preview of their Holmes & Yang collection not too long ago, at Harvey Nichols in Knightsbridge, with a private wardrobing session.

The exclusive European launch saw the pair demonstrate the collections versatility for the working woman’s wardrobe for guests who included Yasmin Mills, Liberty Ross, Heather McQuarrie, Solange Azagury Partridge, Daisy Bates and Maria Hatzistefanis.

Make Mine Milk is currently holding a fantastic competition called 2% Fashion and is a great opportunity for all you fashionistas and aspiring fashion designers out there!  They have teamed up with well known pop star Alexis Jordan and all you have to do is design a t-shirt around the idea of 2% low-fat milk and the colour green.  Time to get your creative hats on people!

Print designer Dominique Mosley and fashion designer David Longshaw have collaborated once again to bring us fashionistas a gorgeous new scarf collection named ‘Around the World’!

The range mixes Dominique’s vivid prints with David’s quirky, creative illustrations and follows on from The London collection and the adventures of fictional fashion blogger Selnec’s journey from one fashion capital to the next.

Dominique Mosley says:

“Since launching our respective labels, David and I had always talked about working together. The eccentric illustrations that he has become known add a unique twist to my graphic print style. In combining the two, we have set out to create a quirky yet stylish collection of investment pieces that in addition to forming a desirable range also tell an interesting story.”

The collection of exclusive silk scarves is made up of 5 designs (and a fabulous tote bag!) all capturing the mood of each city perfectly.  Each style is incredibly unique and beautiful – I have a soft spot for the Paris scarf though!  The subtle colouring makes the piece versatile and chic.
