Spring 2009 will see the grand opening of one of the UK’s most impressive designer outlets aptly named Gloucester Quays. It’s cost a huge £400m but promises to not disappoint.

As the name suggests, it’s a waterfront development (similar to Gunwharf Quays) and is a huge retail and leisure development that will house hotels, cinema, waterside bars, apartments, offices and of course home to some gorgeous fashion brands.

There’s no firm word on the retailers that will be there as yet, but with 100 retail outlets a fashionista certainly shouldn’t struggle for choice.

Launched on the 21st July, Trinny and Susannah’s new collection is the 5th range to be introduced to the catalogue and website.

The complete range encompasses affordable shoes (designed in three colours and priced at around £49), six dresses (around £69), three skirts (around £49), eight tops, three coats, one tailored waistcoat (around £35) and four pairs of trousers.

Introducing an array of dark purples, electric navy, textured greys and some rather swish tailoring, this year’s Autumn / Winter wardrobe is all about fun bold statements. The range is cleverly styled for different body shapes in the way T & S do very well.

Trinny and Susannah said: “Our exclusive collection for Littlewoods Direct is something that we love doing and feel passionate about. We are so excited about our Autumn/Winter range - plum, berry and navy are great colours this season. It is hard to pick our favourites but we really love the black double breasted coat, tailored herringbone waistcoat and pencil skirt. We can’t wait to create new looks with the shoes in the collection – they’re absolutely gorgeous!”
