A lot of high street stores and designers don’t have a good collection of plus size women’s clothing these days.  It is always a breath of fresh air to come across a brand that takes pride in designs for the plus size figure.

Marisota has designed a gorgeous and affordable range of clothing that flatters women’s feminine curves and bigger busts.  From everyday pieces to evening wear and sexy lingerie to stylish swimwear, shopping for plus size pieces will no longer be a task but an enjoyable experience.

Chic dresses for every occasion can be found on the Marisota website in a variety of beautiful colours and designs that nip in at all the right places.  There is also a fantastic range of jeans too in different leg sizes and cuts to suit all women’s shapes.

Packing for a beach holiday is no longer a daunting task either thanks to the chic collection of swimwear and cover-ups in sizes 12-32.  Tummy control swimsuits will be hugging you in all the right places allowing you to feel comfortable on the beach or by the pool whilst bright and vibrant kaftans are available for after sun cover.

Sexy lingerie from different brands will have you looking and feeling utterly fabulous.  Fuller figure babydolls and chemises will have your confidence sky high.  Stunning bras come in back sizes 34-56 and cups A-K with selected styles up to an L cup so you’ll find the perfect fit.  I adore the different styles too - minimiser bras, plunge bras and even multiway designs which allow you to wear them with a range of clothing.

Embrace your curves ladies and be proud of your womanly figure!

British womenswear label Wondaland is designed by Central Saint Martins graduate Alice Rugge-Price.  Her collections are vintage inspired with emphasis on prints, detailing and embellishments and fans already include Margo Stilley and Poppy Delevigne.  Elegant and sophisticated dresses, blouses, jackets and coats are fresh and fashion forward which is down to Alice combining new and old techniques.

The Autumn/Winter 2011 Collection is beautifully crafted and oozes femininity.  Inspiration is taken from the 1950’s silhouettes and Irving Penn’s black and white photography from the same era.  Gorgeous subtle tones such as violets and pale pinks can be seen alongside bolder shades to create a dreamlike range.  Silk georgettes and velvets add to the luxuriousness of the clothing as well as the detailing of pleated chiffon, epaulettes and gold beading.

The wool coats, in versatile colours of camel and navy, are ideal for the cold months ahead.  Chiffon cuffs give the styles elegance and are extremely flattering.

Hannah Beaumont is the talented designer behind the brand Beaumont Organic which creates a range of elegant, stylish and beautiful clothing to the highest standard whilst also being environmentally friendly and ethically minded.  Knitwear this season is about the detailing.  Cute patterns and prints, cable knits and textures can all be found in Beaumont’s latest collection.

Her woollen pieces for Autumn/Winter 2011 are made from organic wools and come in subtle shades of grey, navy, brown and white.  They make stunning separates but can also be layered to create some fabulous winter looks.  The range of stylishly chic leggings, jumpers and cardigans are versatile and comfy.  I adore the Brown Nordic Jumper – the colour and subtle print is gorgeous and could be teamed with everything from chunky wool tights or jeans and flat boots.  The Cashmere Leggings are ideal for those days where you just want casual comfort.  They’re great for day outings or for just wearing around the house.

Gorgeous scarves and hats are available too – perfect accessories to compliment your woollen outfits.

dunhill have long been innovators in fashion, with the brand being the definitive fashion label for the more sophisticated gent.

But now, with the launch of the Autumn Winter 2011 dunhill Voice campaign, complete with augmented reality, they have introduced the fashion world to the next stage of fashion marketing.

image

dunhill have applied Aurasma technology, the world’s leading augmented reality platform, to their Autumn Winter 2011 Voice campaign. The results which can be viewed by Smartphone or tablet are stunning.

This technology, when focussed on a flat image from the campaign transforms it into a moving image and a transactional platform. Quite simply, this is the future of fashion.

The ramifications of such technology for the fashion industry are huge.

To give you an idea, you should try it with the image above. Follow download instructions below and prepare to be impressed!

1.    First download Aurasma Lite for free via your Smartphone app store (http://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/aurasma-lite/id432526396?mt=8)

2.    Once installed, open the program and hover it over any of the new dunhill Voice campaign images to bring them alive

3.    You’ll also be able to seamlessly link to dunhill retail where you can ‘shop the collection’.
(NB: When downloading the app, if asked if you can see an ‘A’ symbol, then please say YES!)

I suspect it will not be too long when every label uses this very same approach. A flat image will never look the same again.
