I admit there’s no shortage of handbags out there but I find it’s a challenge to find one that really stands out from the crowd and I’m sure you’ll agree a girl can never ever have too many to coordinate herself with.

The immortal words “Does my bum look big in this” are what every man dreads. Well, with magic pants you may not have to worry so much.
Top British designer Maria Grachvogel came up with the magic pants trouser range, with an eye to giving ladies a lift in the derriere department. i.e the special fabric used has the effect of making large bottoms appear smaller.
Whilst the retail price of £375 ($750) is a little rich for my blood, the magic pants have proved a real hit with the likes of soul singer Mica Paris, actress Emma Thompson and ex super model Marie Helvin.
Maria Grachvogel is quoted as saying:
“Normal trousers never seem to fit on the waist or the hips and are incredibly unflattering. With magic pants I have dispensed with pockets and side seams, which is why they fit so well and give the illusion of a slim silhouette.”

We love hearing about new and exciting British labels and Aksuona is no exception. They have designed a truly delightful range of stylish clutch bags that when I saw them had me clutching my bag to go out and buy one. They are truly stunning and all designed as individual one offs by company owner Natasha who delivers them in a luxurious black satin pouch.
It has only been approx 6 months from conception to present day and Aksuona is already stocked in some of the UK’s finest boutiques such as Emma Somerset, Muse Womenswear, Purdies, Plume Boutique, Farfallina and many many more. These are the ‘must-have’ accessory for 2008.

Expect to see filmstars clutching on to these little beauties in a Hello magazine near you!
