Hi Chantelle,
I wonder if you can help. I have been invited to a Winter wedding in December and I am struggling with what I should wear for it. My main aim is to be comfortable.
I don’t tend to wear a lot of dresses because I don’t like showing off my legs but I feel at this wedding I should experiment with something new. Also, high heels are a no no for me because I don’t find them comfortable so an alternative, comfortable type of footwear suggestion will be welcomed. I guess I should tell you how I view my body shape because this will make it easier for you to select an outfit for me. I am about 5ft 4 and I am a typical pear shape, I tend to be comfortable with blending in with the crowd so not standing out too much with what I wear.

I am desperate to buy a black and white stripy top, they can look so classy.
Kylie is wearing one in this months Elle magazine. Mission: Has to be cheap!

Hi Chantelle
This season layering is huge and I have fallen in love with it. I would love to try out a skirt over my jeans but am unsure how to pull it off without looking silly. What type of skirts go with what type of jeans? Any advice helpful. Sarah Mcool - by email

The ‘Pear’ tends to have bigger hips to shoulders and upper body half. If you are a pear shape then you should balance out your shoulders so that they appear in line with your hips, creating an invisible rectangle.
