Nike have joined forces with shoe designers Cole Haan to produce the “Tivona Air Slings” according to the UK’s Daily Mail newspaper.
The design incorporates air filled soles and heels that could resolve the multitude of potential health problems associated with stilettos.
Apparently, the shoes conceal an air sole under the ball of the foot which is where the most downward force is exerted and an air filled cushion under the heel. The maximum heel height developed is thought to be three and a half inches. Nonetheless, if the styling can be maintained you can see these shoes flying off the shleves.
Well done Nike and Cole Haan!
